The Journal’s basic objectives are:
Improve the health of children and adolescents in all its aspects.
Promote the technical-scientific development of human resources in professional fields and community leadership.
Protect health at the individual and social level.
Exercise health actions in primary care, medium and high complexity of infant-juvenile Health.
Advise community and scientific groups in all aspects of those matters.
Implement actions of economic aid, exchange and scientific contributions to public and private Institutions that which provide Health care for infants and adolescents.
Dictate scientific, ethical and moral standards in the prophylaxis, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of infectious pathologies, with multidisciplinary criteria.
Promote basic and applied research.
Promote the social reintegration of patients.
